Split "V" at the neck is an elastic/ draw combo. Split "V" neck is additional cost

V split neck, Ruffle at hemline option.

Maximum circumference at hemline is 84"-88"

Chemises are historically very voluminous. If you want a more contemporary fit for blouse length please specify when you return your measurements.

Contemporary cut is for blouse length only. This will not fit like a modern blouse. It simply slims it down a bit

Constructed with shirting cotton. This is a very high thread count fabric. It is soft but sturdy. It is opaque. The lighter the color the less opacity .

Think very high quality men's dress shirt. Fabric is preshrunk. Natural fibers do fade and shrink when washed in warm/hot water or over dried.

This is not a costume quality garment. It is a quality constructed garment folks costume in. It exceeds commercial construction standards for daily wear garments.

Measurements Required for Chemises:

*1.) Bust/Chest: Measure around fullest part of breast (usually the nipple line)

*3.) Hip: Measure around the hip or midsection whichever is largest.

**4.) Length: Measure from shoulder to where you want the hem line to end. ) Think about shoes you'll be wearing as this affects length. 32" to petal point for petal hem option

*5.) Arm Length: Measure from top of shoulder to your wrist (shoulder crest)

*6.) Bicep: Measure largest part of upper arm.

*10.) Measure around shoulders (tape around front, back and both shoulders) where you would wear chemise for off the shoulder style. You will need to provide the around the shoulder measurement regardless of how you intend to wear the chemise.

**12.) Your Height: Barefoot height top/crown of head to floor.

*13.) Will you be wearing your chemise primarily ON or OFF the shoulder? (If you plan to wear this both off and on I recommend Draw.)

*14.) Elastic or Draw at Neckline? V Split neck will be a combination of elastic with a cotton or ribbon tie.

**17.) IF blouse length do you want a slimmer contemporary fit or a traditional voluminous fit?

Ruffle Option: If added is 5" Please provide total length when doing measurements. We will do the math for the ruffle : ) Ruffles are an additional expense.

30" & under is considered blouse length

31"-59" would be for shoulder to hemline lengths up to 59" or for a person under 5'9"

60"-69" would be for lengths the exceed shoulder to hemline of 59" persons

Construction time is dependent on:

1.) How quickly you provide measurements needed.

2.) Fabric being in stock.

3.) Time of year. Depending on variables, a single item may be ready to ship in as little as one day. IF you need this sooner than the ship by time at check out PLEASE check prior to ordering as I may or may not be able to accommodate your need. Additionally, please keep in mind the ship by date time period starts after all measurements and options are received. NOT when you place your order.
